Overview

Join us on this exploration of Stanton Moor, famous for its megaliths (in particular the Nine Ladies stone circle) and its sandstone pillars which have been eroded naturally by the wind over millennia. The area has a fascinating geological and human  history. A delight to walk in good weather, with excellent views, particularly of the Derwent valley to the west.
