We are the York Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This pleasant walk takes us on to sections of Strensall Common and surrounds. It does include some road walking. The tracks are fairly good although puddles and marshy bits are likely to feature. No stiles. The walk cannot be shortened as there is no cut-off point. No dogs please.

Catch the 5 or 5A bus at 9.15am from York Railway Station or 9.20am from opposite Theatre Royal. The leader will get on the bus near her home in Strensall and we will get off at Strensall bus terminus. There are regular buses from Strensall to York city centre at the end of the walk.
