If you are a Ramblers member, please bring your membership card. You MUST text or ring the leader to BOOK a place. You should not join the walk unless you have received a verbal CONFIRMATION or a TEXT.
Starting from outside the Preschool, we first skirt Brownockhill Plantation before joining a byway at Kemble Farm. This will then take us into Ravensroost Wood, where we will stop for a short while before returning to Minety.
A slightly longer alternative route may be taken depending on ground conditions on the prewalk.
For those members who are happy to car share, we meet first at the Bath Road car park in Chippenham. (“Pay and Display”). Lifts are suggested at £3.40.
There is plenty of parking on Silver Street, but please park thoughtfully. The walk will start from outside the Preschool. O/S Explorer 169.
