This is a circuit of Macclesfield Forest including the ascent of Shutlingsloe.
The route follows the footpath to Tegg's Nose Gate, Hacked Way Lane then forest paths to Forest Chapel, Standing Stone, Buxtor's Hill and Shutlingsloe. Return to CP by forest paths to Nessit Hill, Greenbarn, Ridgegate and Clarke Lane. Lovely views all day long - weather permitting.
