Overview

This is an easy 4.2 mile walk with 94 feet of ascent. We cut through the housing estate and cross Alderley Road before walking past the sand pits and through George’s Wood. We then cross the A537, follow a track to Astle Farm. Walk across fields, along Chapel Road before returning to Chelford via Chelford Heath.

There are no stiles but when I walked it the other day 2 fields have been ploughed very deeply so bring sticks if you use them.

Dogs welcome on leads.

Bring a snack and drink.
