Overview

From Nelson Pit we will walk down the canal and cross over at bridge number 16, Hagg Bridge.We will then walk across a field, down a footpath at the side of fields and on to a tarmac road, turning left through a farm, down a a wooded footpath and over a ladder style into Lyme Park. We walk gently up hill until we arrive at a small wooded area where we will have coffee. Toilets nearby. We then walk in front of the hall and walk up to the cage. Downhill to 2'foot bridges following a path to Middlecale Wood, eventually reaching Ryles Wood. We cross a path and follow a footpath round fields towards Barlow House Farm After reaching a tarmac road we walk over a bridge and turn right to reach the Middlewood Way eventually back to our start
