Overview

Footpath 202 has now re-opened after a two year closure so it is now possible to do the 8 mile loop around Thorney Island peninsula which is separated by the narrow Great Deep channel from the mainland. This relatively flat walk is a classic and is best done in the summer as it can get quite muddy in the winter. We will go via the east gate, have a coffee break at the church and look out for seals at our lunch break before returning via the west gate.

No booking required.

Please bring refreshments for 2 breaks en route.

Assistance dogs only please.
