Overview

This walk will take us through fields and farmland and along good paths and tracks up to Dean Hill. Here we will have some lovely views over the Dunn Valley and beyond. We will weave our way back down along lanes and paths around village greens with some interesting cottages. There are just 2 stiles.

Park on Butt's Green opposite the village school. Take the A3057 from Romsey towards Stockbridge. At the Bear and Ragged Staff pub, turn left down Kimbridge Lane. Go over the railway and then turn right at the T junction. Follow the Dunbridge Lane down to the Mill Arms and turn left down Lockerley Road for about 2 miles. At the Butt's Green, parking is on the left opposite the school.
