Overview

From top carpark at Tortworth Farm shop, we head downhill past the ancient chestnut tree, across fields to Avening Green. We then follow the Little Avon river towards Charfield,then quiet country lanes towards Huntingford. Stop for coffee in Charfield Meadow Nature reserve which is next to railway line. More fields and lanes, alongside railway line towards Damery, returning along the road to the start. Leisurely pace, Terrain 1 not much climbing, one stile, a few up and down inclines, 2 short steepish slopes at the end of the walk. Meet at 10.20am. Lunch available in Farm shop cafe at end of walk.

Park in top car park at Tortworth Farm shop , turn off the main B4509 signposted Farmers Table/Tortworth Farm shop and the entrance is approx 30 yds on RHS.
