Vale of White Horse Ramblers are a friendly group who walk mid-week and weekends in southern Oxfordshire. Highlights are the Ridgeway, the Thames Path, and the Uffington White Horse.
One of the group's "Vale Mince Pie walks for Christmas". This walk goes through the attractive villages of Hinton Waldrist and Longworth, and incorporates paths cleared by the Vale Path Volunteers in July. Hinton Waldrist is our first destination, going past Hinton Manor and St Margaret of Antioch church. From there we head east to Longworth church (St Mary’s) which, being alongside Longworth Manor, is outside of the village.
