Overview

A circular walk, from Wantage (Birthplace of Alfred the Great) to Letcombe Regis and up onto the Ridgeway stopping at Segsbury Castle (an ancient hill fort) picnic lunch at the monument to Lord Wantage. Returning through Ardington, stopping to look at the Millennium Sundial and Solar System stone circle, and back to Wantage. Please bring picnic. Four stiles and one long slope.
