Overview

This circular walk passes remains of medieval longhouses and a deer Park hunting lodge, we join the West Devon Way and pass through Old Town Local Nature Reserve near Okehampton Castle. Green lanes, fields and tracks.

Fairly steepish climb at start of walk and steady descent mid way . Can be muddy and some uneven surfaces in places.

We will stop for a coffee break.

Toilets at railway station.

Park at Okehampton YHA . ( no charge)
