Ascend Showery Tor and Rough Tor then cross the De Lank to hike the Brown Willy ridge (some rocky challenges). Descend to Garrow Tor and its lost village and plentiful hut circles. Lunch at King Arthur's Hall, a neolithic monument comprising a large enclosure and standing stones before crossing his Downs for a final trip through the valley between Rough Tor and Louden Hill visiting stone circles, hut circles and settlements.
Park and meet for the start at the large Rough Tor car park on the north western edge of Bodmin Moor, near Camelford, accessed off the A39. Leader will not be at Pixon Lane, Tavistock but please arrange car sharing if you can. Text or email Paul B. if coming please.
