We are the Pontypool Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A linear walk from Glangrwyney to Abergavenny on the lower slopes of Sugar Loaf, excellent views weather permitting. We cross over Llanwenarth Brest, go through an ancient oak woodland and into St Mary's Vale, continuing on lanes and roads back to the cars.

We are catching the 9:52 bus towards Brecon. So please ensure you arrive in good time!
There are two short, steep climbs out of Llangenny and Cwm Cegyr and two stream crossings.
