Overview

We start our walk from Southlands Car Park & head west over the River Nidd up the hill towards Eagle Hall on the Nidderdale Way until we reach Hillend. We then turn left & climb up hill finally reaching Coldstones Cut Quarry Viewing Point, almost the highest point of our walk at 392m with 360 degree views of the surrounding area.

After taking in the views we continue to the Summit of Greenhow Hill & the village of the same name at 401m.

From here we turn north onto Brewerley Moor & the old abandoned Lead Mines before descending into the Valley picking up the Nidderdale Way again & following Ashfold Side Beck on our return to Pateley Bridge.
