Walk from Sharpitor car park << note revised start point

From Sharpitor car park we will head around the top of Sharpitor and pass Leather Tor as we drop down to the Devenport leat  We then walk to Crazy Well Pool for a late coffee stop, returning the long way along the leat and over the aqueduct before heading back to the car park

There are some superb views over the Burrator area along the way  There are many wild flowers out including lots of foxgloves

The walk mainly follows good paths but there are a few places which are rocky and some that were wet on 17 June so while it is labelled as Moderate there are a couple of places you may consider as Strenuous  There is also typical moorland undergrowth of bracken and ferns which may contain ticks  Walking sticks, boots and long trousers are recommended  Sun hats and sunscreen also necessary
