The walk starts at the small village of Durisdeer. Initially the walk is steep as we leave the village and head up the estate track to Blackgrain Shoulder. Time to breath as a lot of the ascent completed. We then make a more gradual ascent along the same track, passing Glenleith Fell. For those wishing to tick off Donald tops, a very short detour could be made. A descent before the final climb to Wedder Law. Excellent views towards Dumfries & Galloway and the rough moorland countryside amongst others. We then descend on a grassy ATV track to meet up at another estate track, which we will follow all the way back through beautiful Glenaggart and back to the village.
The walk is straightforward, mainly on rough estate tracks. The grassy descent may be boggy in places. Gaiters and walking poles if desired.
Car sharing is recommended due to limited parking spaces.
