We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A 6 mile, circular walk through Buxted Park and back to Uckfield. We will start at the bus station, walk up through the nature reserve and up towards Buxted Park. We will then walk through Buxted Park and then back through Uckfield following the river Uck.
Bus #29 from Churchill Square (at 17:06) towards Tunbridge Wells stops enroute in Uckfield. Buses every hour back to Brighton after the walk (21:39 and 22:39).
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers.
