www.roundmanchesterhikingtrail.co.uk for further details. We will go to a pub in Knutsford at
the end of the walk, and everyone is welcome to join us. Please do not bring your dog (apart from assistance dogs).:
There is quite a lot of mud on this route, so people need to come prepared with good walking
boots. There isn’t much climbing, but there are some undulations, especially as we follow the
River Bollin, in which at some points we need to climb and descend to follow the path. We
pass through some interesting scenery on the way – Quarry Bank Mill, the River Bollin and
Manchester Airport being the main highlights.
