There we will turn east and north east, following part of the Yorkshire Wolds Way and then Chalkland Way through Oxlands Dale, Shortlands Dale and Thorn Dale back to Wetwang.

The initial 0.9 miles of walking is on the pavement and grass verge, Thereafter, it is predominantly field edge and open access tracks.
