Overview

Another pleasant winter walk, beginning with a gentle climb from the TPT car park up to Wortley, continuing on the Timberland Trail past Wortley Hall into Copley Wood towards the village of Howbrook, where seating around the war memorial is an ideal spot for refreshments . A south westerly route follows the Barnsley Boundary Walk alongside Wharnecliffe Reservoir, before descending Hannah Moor above Wharncliffe Crags to return on the wooded TPT back to the car park.

Dogs welcome, but must be on a short fixed lead.
