Overview

Another pleasant winter walk beginning with a gentle climb from the TPT car park up to Wortley, continuing on the Trans Pennine Timberland Trail to Westwood Lodge, before heading south to the charming village of Howbrook where refreshments will be taken at the war memorial. A westerly route follows the Barnsley Boundary Walk around Wharnecliffe Reservoir, before descending across Gosling Moor towards Finkle Street and our return to the car park.

Dogs welcome, but must be on a short fixed lead.
