Due to residual flooding along the river bank, the walk will now proceed from the War Memorial start point via Common Croft Lane, Broad Lane and Scagglethorpe lane to Scallymoor Farm, returning via Woodhouse farm and New Farm to the War Memorial and then continuing to the Tithe Barn.”

After the walk lunch can be eaten at the Tithe Barn where the AGM will be held.This is about half a mile from the finish point.
Nether Poppleton War Memorial. The start point is close to the terminus of the no 10 bus from York.
