We are the York Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An 11 mile flat winter walk from Aberford. We will start from the marked roadside parking just south of the village before the Alms Houses. We head SW through Parlington estate along the Fly Line and then the estate road. Continuing on we cross the lower corner of Garforth golf course to reach the Leeds Country Way at Barnbow Wood. The Country Way will take us north to the edge of Scholes, then on through Barwick and out to the A64 at Kiddal Bridge. From here we turn back east to Potterton, Becca Home Farm, through Becca Low Wood and back into Aberford.
