2025 Official Take A Hike Weekend Away

After the success of last year's trip to Saltburn, we are planning this year's weekend away in Scarborough!
Dates
Friday 5th September to Sunday 7th September
Transport
An hour and a half drive from Leeds, or just over an hour direct train from Leeds via York.
Accommodation
There is plenty of choice in affordable Airbnb and booking.com rooms, and hotels are available in Scarborough.
You could also try arranging through our Facebook group for accommodation shares.
Walks
See the walks calendar for details. We still need volunteers to lead more walks on the weekend, so please get in touch with Tim at walks@takeahike.org.uk if you'd like to lead.
Evening Plans
On the Friday night we have two choices of restaurant, but self-catering is also an option.

On Saturday we have booked a room in the Scarborough Arms, North Terrace, Scarborough YO11 1HU. A buffet of hot and cold food will be provided at a cost of £10 per head, to be paid in cash on the night. Entertainment will be arranged for the rest of the evening as well.
