A walking group for young people in the Shropshire area. We have walks on most weekends, mid-week in the summer as well as socials and weekends away too.

Join us aboard the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway, a heritage railway running between Welshpool and Llanfair Caereinion.
You have three options when signing up:
1. 🎟️ Return ticket + Y Golfa. Take the 10:00 train from Llanfair Caereinion to Welshpool. On arrival into Welshpool we will commence a 6.5-mile walk to the summit of Y Golfa (341m). Return on the 14:15 train, arriving back in Llanfair Caereinion at 15:00. See linked walk for full details.
OR
2. 🎟️ Return ticket + Welshpool. Take the 10:00 train from Caereinion to Welshpool. On arrival into Welshpool explore the town at your leisure. Return on the 14:15 train, arriving back in Llanfair Caereinion at 15:00.
OR
3. 🎟️ Return ticket. Join us for the journey to Welshpool, returning promptly on the 11:15 service, arriving back Llanfair Caereinion at 12:00.

Following signup, you will be added to a WhatsApp group to confirm logistics and liaise on the day.
Parking 🅿️ - Free car parking at Llanfair Caereinion.
Toilets 🚾 - Free toilets at Llanfair Caereinion Station and Welshpool Raven Square Station.
Dogs 🐾 - The 20th September is Dog Day on the railway and your four-legged friend/s travel free.
Pub🍺- We will head to a pub (TBC) in Llanfair Caereinion following the walk.
Cost 💷 - Return £25. Returns can be purchased online or at the ticket office. You will purchase these individually. A week before the event I will provide confirmation for individuals to purchase their tickets.
