We are based in East Kent and are one of around 500 Ramblers groups throughout the country of which there are 13 within the Garden of England. Our group walks are a great way to experience the outdoors and explore new places safely and in good company, and you’ll get a warm welcome from our walk leaders and like-minded walkers.
Our group walks take place on a Sunday at 9.30 unless otherwise stated, so we look forward to welcoming you on a walk in the lovely Kent countryside soon, non-members are welcome to try up to three walks before becoming a member. Whenever possible there will be a pub stop part way round our walk, or at the end and sometimes both if we are lucky. Walks are generally within the medium distance range of between 10 to 14 miles, at standard walking pace of around 2.5 - 2.75 miles per hour. We also have the occasional shorter distance walk, some of these might be evening walks when the days are longer, or on a Saturday.
