Would you like to go walking with the Tyneside Ramblers?
You may be new to walking or an experienced hiker. People of all ages come on our walks, Wednesday has more retired people than on a Sunday. There is a more or less even split between men and women.
All our walks are by coach from Newcastle on Sundays & Wednesdays. For all walks, click or paste this link: http://www.ramblers.org.uk/go-walking/find-a-walk-or-route.aspx?group=NN01&tab=walks
Walks are graded and vary in length from 5 to 20 miles. Every walk has a leader and you choose which walk to take. Some days you may prefer a shorter, easy-going group or perhaps you might choose a longer more strenuous walk.
The day starts with coach travel from Newcastle upon Tyne. There are 2 coaches on Sundays and 2 on Wednesdays. Groups are dropped-off with a leader and you spend the day with that small group. The day ends in Newcastle which avoids you having to drive back!
Some people love the benefits of a walk leader who has planned an enjoyable route, so they don’t need to worry about finding the footpath or following a map. Click for Walking grades
