We are the Pontypool Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This is a short 3.5 mile, pre-AGM, walk starting from Llanellen Village Hall, passing through the village and then a short climb to the Mon & Brec Canal.
We will then follow the canal, stopping for a short refreshments break, before retracing our steps along the canal and back down to the village hall.
The walk will be followed by a light buffet and then the AGM.
The footpath up to the canal is boggy in places.

This walk should take about 2 hours including one stop for refreshments.
