🥾 Walk Overview
This circular walk begins and ends at the Cefn Ila Woodland Trust car park. We start with a short stretch along a narrow country lane before heading into open fields and wooded areas.
On a clear day, the views are excellent — Wentwood Forest, Sugar Loaf, and the Blorenge are all visible from various points along the route.
🍃 Lunch Stop
We’ll stop for lunch at the WWII bunk park picnic area, which overlooks the vast Wentwood Forest and the distant Llangibby Castle woods.

Car park free. Due to small car park car share is advisible.
Some sections may be muddy, and there are both gradual and steep ascents and descents.
