Overview

From Kemsing Station we head north through open country to Heaverham, where we turn east and gradually ascend to the Pilgrims Way, with extensive views to the south. We drop down slightly, then up again to Wrotham, where we have lunch (6.4 km or 3.9 miles into the walk), pub/picnic. After lunch it is a steady descent until we cross the M26 motorway. From there it is a short level walk into Borough Green Station. Overall ascent 106 metres, descent 99 metres.
