Overview

Occasionally steep climb from the Caterham Valley using suburban roads and tracks to The Harrow on the North Downs Way (pub/picnic), descending to the Hare and Hounds at pretty Godstone Green (also toilets&cafe). 409 or 400 bus back to Caterham (half-hourly trains to Purley, East Croydon and London Bridge. Sutton residents might consider getting the frequent 127 bus calling at Carshalton, Wallington and Purley Station where the train waits to divide.
