Overview

Our walk starts at Berkhamsted station where there will be time to look around the castle/have a coffee. Toilets also available.

We then ascend through fields and forests towards the Bridgewater Monument and cafe before descending to Aldbury for pub lunch at the Greyhound (or picnic). Short walk to Tring station after lunch.

Includes ascent and decent so a pole may be advisable.

Meet at Euston Station 10.15 am (by the departure boards) to catch the 10.24 am train to Berkhamsted. Buy a return to Tring Station.

Please contact the leader by the Tuesday before, to book a place/pub lunch on this walk.
