From the station approach road (Mill Lane), cross the beautiful valley to ascend steeply to fields, then down steeply to the Tillingdown valley. Ascend again to the new development at the farm before crossing the A22 by the footbridge. Diverting briefly to a covered reservoir overlooking Caterham, we descend by a residential road to turn east on a footpath crossing the A22 again and joining Woldingham Road we take the long access road to Woldingham School, leaving it for the back entrance to the station.
