A leisurely November walk from the centre of Bingley through the St. Ives country estate. Taking in some of the pretty riverside paths, woodlands and lakes around Bingley, and paying a visit to the famous Druid's altar monument.
Walk distance is about 5-6 miles and the walk should take 2-3 hours. It is mostly flat with some slight uphill climbs. Expect muddy areas and slippery paths due to wet fallen leaves.
Bingley has plenty of train services from Leeds and Bradford. There are also plenty of car parks in Bingley, including one right next to the station.
Please note there are no toilet facilities at Bingley station or along the route. Suggest using one of the cafes nearby before starting.
Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.
