We are the Cleveland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From the car park we cross the road and take the path to Quakers' Causeway. We then take the route west towards Westworth Woods and Guisborough Woods where we pick up the Cleveland Way. Using the Cleveland Way we head into the village of Charltons where we cross the A171 again to head along towards Margrove park. Taking the path just before the caravan site we have a climb back up to the car park through Skelton Warren and Low Moor.
There will be a ten minute break. Please feel free to bring a drink/snack to enjoy.
The car park, which is free, is situated on the A171. After passing Charltons/Margrove Park heading towards Whitby the road briefly becomes a dual carriageway as it climbs the steep hill onto the North York Moors. The car park is on the left on the brow of the hill.
