Overview

 Assistance dogs only. From the cars walk north west up Front Street - turn left on to Old Stockton Road opposite the Hope and Anchor pub - continue walking north west until a public byway is reached. Turn left on to the byway and walk south, east, south, west and south along footpaths to join a footpath heading north east back in to Greatham. On reaching the road turn left then almost immediately right on to Station Road. Walk east, south east until the perimeter of Greatham Tank Farm (oil storage depot) is reached. Follow the perimeter north east and south east to Graythorp Industrial Estate. Walk through the estate to join the King Charles III England Coast Path at the side of the A178. Walk south west for almost a mile and then turn west in to Greatham Creek Nature Reserve - continue south to the creek where a break will be taken. Retrace your footsteps back to reserve entrance  then walk west then generally north west past Marsh House Farm to a railway crossing. From here walk north west back to Front Street.  Map:  OS Explorer 306.  It may be possible to observe seals at Greatham Creek - if you wish bring binos.
