Overview

A scenic Derbyshire walk from Hathersage, the hub of the Dark Peak. It starts along the River Derwent to Padley, and ascends alongside Burbage Brook through woodland. A road is then crossed to pass Toads Mouth rock, on to Carl Wark ironage fort and a steep scramble up to Higger Tor. Finally, along Stanage Edge and down to Hathersage.

The Railway Station car park is private - for rail users only.
