We are the Rushcliffe Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Our walk takes us on field paths and farm tracks from Colston Bassett to Cropwell Bishop. On the way we will have a chance to stop at the remains of the former St Mary's Church. As part of our return route, we walk alongside an unrestored stretch of the Grantham Canal to Spencer's Bridge, completing the walk back to the pub via a minor road and field paths. There will be a drinks stop somewhere along the way.
After the walk, you are welcome to stop just for a drink or for lunch. The sandwich menu is on the link and a more extensive lunch menu can be found on the pub website.
