This is a moderate walk in countryside around Callander. There will be some ascents and descents on hill paths, forest tracks and small section of minor road. We cross the river twice, the second time will be at Bracklinn Falls which can be quite spectacular when in spate.
This is a car share walk, any car drivers that can help contact leader asap.
Anyone wishing to join the walk can contact the leader from February the 7th
Only contact leader by phoning or texting on 07786159729
The walk starts from the car park in Callander and we climb to the top of the crags, good views weather permitting, from here we then descend to a minor road for a short distance before our second climb up the forest track. From there we descend down to the river and the falls, from the falls we follow the forestry track through the woods back to Callander.
This walk can be muddy after rain so walking boots recommend and poles if you use them.
There are toilets at start of walk but none on the route, but some cover in the forest.
There are pubs and cafes in Callander for refreshments after the walk
