This walk has been replaced with a walk from Corwen
During the reccie of the Cwm Pennant walk a number of problems were encountered due to forestry work obscuring paths in the ascent to the high ridge overlooking the valley. In addition the moorland paths are very rough. All this makes the walk more arduous than it already is.
A walk of contrasts - the first part high, exposed to the weather, moorland; the second tracks and tarmac in the valley. Initial ascent from 527ft to 1754ft through quarry and woodland to high moorland above Cwm Pennant. Walk along the high, broad ridge before descent into forest to the Pererindod Melangel walk in the valley. Visit the Pennant Melangel church then tracks and road along the valley floor to finish.
