Overview

From the beautiful village of Llandderfel (NE of Bala) in the upper Dee Valley. We will start along the river and then go up through scattered woodland and pastures to the open heather moorland of Mynydd Mynyllod.  Hopefully the heather will still be in flower and there will be  great views across to Llyn Tegid and Arenig as well as across the Dee Valley. A steady ascent in easy stages. We will go through areas of bracken, open moorland (rough underfoot), and small areas of boggy ground. So long trousers and sticks advised. Unlikely to see any other walkers! 7 miles moderate.
