A leisurely and picturesque circular walk starting at Acton Burnell Castle car park, enjoying panoramic views of the Shropshire and Welsh Hills. Near the castle was the site of the first parliament in 1283 attended by Edward I. We will visit the 16th century Puritan Langley chapel on our return, and take a look at the interior. The route follows field paths, stony tracks and quiet lanes. There are several stiles and a clear path through a maize field. Walk leaders will meet walkers at Acton Burnell Castle. Please car share if possible. There is limited parking in the car park so some cars may have to park on the approach road towards Concord College.
