Walk starts at the Royal Oak public house at Car Colston. Going across meadows and ploughed fields to Kneeton. Then down a steep hill to the River Trent. Following the Trent for a while we then walk up Green Lane to East Bridgford where we use tracks and roads back to Car Colston.
Fields can be muddy if freshly ploughed or recent rainfall. The descent to the river is steep and uneven. Green Lane is uphill, steep at times. Lots of beautiful views over Trent valley and beyond. Bring refreshments for coffee and lunch stops.
