After exploring some of the outskirts of Long Bennington, the route will take us to Westborough, where we will see the historic church dating from the 13th century and a Lancaster aircraft crash site memorial. After a coffee stop in the village, we will make our way to Dry Doddington, famous for its church with a leaning tower and spire. There will be a picnic lunch stop, after which we will return to Long Bennington following the meandering River Witham.

Junction of Westborough Lane and the main road through Long Bennington. There is plenty of street parking available on the main road.
