We are the West London Ramblers, mainly covering Ealing and Hounslow, but open to all. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Amersham Station we make our way to St Mary's Church, Old Amersham, where this section of the walk commences. We continue via Coleshill, Winchmore Hill to Penn Street (4.5 miles approx) for lunch (picnic).
The route then runs through ancient woodland and on to Little Missenden. We can stop for a short break Kingshill Kitchen. From there we follow the South Bucks Way to Nairdwood Farm, Atkins Wood, Angling Spring Wood and on down to Great Missenden.
Amersham can be reached by the Chiltern or Metropolitan Line and the outward journey is covered by Oyster. For the return journey from Great Missenden a single ticket is required.
Toilets at Marylebone or on the Chiltern train. The toilets at Amersham Station are closed.
