We are the West London Ramblers, mainly covering Ealing and Hounslow, but open to all. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A linear walk along the upper slopes of the Chess Valley via Chenies, to descend across the valley and rise up to Church End Sarratt. Picnic lunch by the church with time for drinks/toilets at 'The Cock Inn' Pub. Continue across field tracks over the M25, passing Micklefield Hall and Redheath. Then crossing the golfcourse into Cassiobury Park, with a possible stop at 'The Hub' cafe for tea/toilets. Soon after, we finish at Watford Met Station. Lovely scenic views along the Chess Valley.
Toilets at Chalfont & Latimer Station, Pub and Cafe in the Park.
Mostly good tracks, but after wet weather some parts of lower Chess Valley could be muddy.
