We will walk through the village of Seer Green, stopping briefly at its church, then across fields to Hodgemoor Woods, where Polish forces and their families were housed after WW2 before being settled. We will make a circuit of the wood and have our picnic lunch there. Back on the Chiltern Heritage Trail, we walk across fields to the River Misbourne, then joining the South Bucks Way to Old Amersham. Refreshments in the historic High Street before a climb through woods to Amersham Station. Toilets on the Train to Seer Green but not at the station. No toilets on the walk until Old Amersham. Several stiles.
