Weekly walks all year round, highly regarded footpath maintenance work and a great way to make new friends – three good reasons to join Hexham Ramblers!
Leaving Corbridge, we head up through the village and on to Aydon Castle and Halton Castle - look out for the porcine topiary behind Halton church - before joining the Hadrian's Wall path. We walk this path as far as Turret 23B and then turn south over Hangman's Hill, following a route that takes us to Acomb Fell, Fern Hill Farm, Fern Hill Cottage and Beaufront School on the way to Anick. From Anick, it's a short walk into Hexham.
Note early meeting time! To allow for travel on the 09.37 bus from Hexham bus station. (See below.)

Meet at Hexham bus station for the 09.37 685 bus to Corbridge car park, where the walk begins. Park in the white (all day) bays at the Wentworth car park. NOTE EARLY MEETING TIME.
