Following the wooded edge of Coundmoor Brook, well-known for snowdrops in February, we continue to Harnage passing some small pools and a reservoir, returning to the pretty village of Cound for lunch. The second half of the walk takes us to Venus Pool Nature Reserve, a haven for bird life, and returns alongside Cound Brook and over the grade 2 listed Cound Arbour Bridge.
Some paths will be slippy due to muddy conditions.
There is a small car park at Cound Guildhall, adjacent to the church. Please pay a donation, there is an honesty box provided, for the upkeep of the car park. There are also a few places on the road if needed. Please car share where possible, due to limited space.
Please book by text.
