Danby has a pub and a bakery-café, and there's also a café at Danby Lodge National Park Centre, which is open when the Centre is open. The nearby village of Ainthorpe boasts the oldest pub in the area, the Fox and Hounds, which dates back to 1555. Dependent upon finish time there may be opportunities to enjoy some of the culinary delights afforded by this area
